Winner Announcements celebrated our fans and made them the face of our brand.
To kick off the summer in 2015 we created the first-ever Twitter awards show, the #ItsMillerTime Awards.
We used a trending hashtag on the Thursday before Memorial Day, an important holiday for beer sales, as the platform for our award show.
Leading up to the big day we teased consumers and enlisted influencers to drive awareness of the event. We created categories of summer activities and prize packages for each one.
On the big day we encouraged consumers to share their best summer photos and rewarded the best submissions with everything from sunglasses to branded Weber Grills and Coolers.
When the award show ended we had generated 93 million impressions and received 5700 consumer photos. Kicking off the most important beer selling season with a bang.
